Interview: Silvern (Video/Audio)
Hailing from Ukraine, Silvern are a black metal band who released their debut full-length album ‘Stardust Sermons’ via Vendetta Records on September 6th, 2024.
It’s been a challenging journey to release, with multiple postponements due to the full-scale aggression from Russia, but the album has finally seen the light of day. Telling a conceptual story that surrounds a faceless character as their perception of reality shifts through various encounters and challenges. It highlights the duality of human belief, showing that not everything black is truly black, and not everything white is truly white.
The album showcases a raw and primitive style of black metal enhanced by bleak atmosphere. It’s a debut that unleashes billowing darkness via a flood of melancholic savagery with a mind-altering level of storytelling. It’s coarse and it’s harsh, but it is compelling.
