Nestor – Teenage Rebel (Napalm Records)

An album of pure nostalgia and sounding like it came right from the golden age of rock. The goal for Nestor is to be as anthemically pleasing as possible, and across the eleven tracks of this album, they easily surpass it.

Shrapnel – In Gravity (Candlelight Records)

This is an evolved Shrapnel and they’re beginning to flex their melodic side as much as their metal muscles. Crafting a more obviously anthemic and accessible heavy sound.

Zero One – Faults In My Design (Self Released)

The appeal of this EP comes from the fact that Zero One make their heavier side the focal point, building melody around that, rather than the other way around. It makes the soaring choruses and mellow moments all the more impactful when it has been preceded by heavy chaos or some carnage.

Lowlives – Freaking Out (Spinefarm Records)
