Cinematic Djent Band Vanitas Release New Single ‘Grey Morality’

Following a successful trio of singles in 2023, Vanitas show no signs of slowing down, hitting the ground running, and  debuting a darker sound with their new release ‘Grey Morality’. Taking inspiration from nostalgic Japanese video-game soundtracks, modern metal riffage and orchestral soundscapes, Vanitas burst into the UK metal scene in 2022 with their debut self-titled EP and previous support slots with the likes of Prog acts Monuments, Voyager, Destrage and Galactic Empire.

Grey Morality takes a dive into existentialism, losing your faith and navigating blurred lines in the face of an uncertain future. Vanitas go heavier than before with Grey Morality, combining movie-like orchestra with hard-hitting breakdowns and piercing screams. Vanitas will kick-off their live shows in 2024 with an appearance at International Women’s Slay on the 8th March at The Devil’s Dog Birmingham, with later plans to participate in this year’s M2TM competition for a chance to play Bloodstock 2024 and a festival appearance in the UK’s best micro festival Burn it Down Festival in August this year.
