Directed by Dominic Grose and starring Aniqa Mazumder, Stocking Stuffer is a fun Christmas horror short that puts a sinister smile on the face.

A young woman is woken up on Christmas morning by her phone playing the song ‘Jingle Bells’, something she’d really rather not have to hear at 6am. Looking at the phone, she sees it has a message that simply says:

Go and look at what Santa brought you!

Confused, she leaves the bedroom and heads to the living room where a single stocking lies in the middle of the floor. A stocking with something quite substantial in it.

It’s a fabulous short, with a twist that is delightfully dark and evil. It builds dread and embraces the cheesy aspects of Christmas with glee. Exemplified by Aniqa Mazumder excellent performance. Proof that you don’t need a big budget, expensive effects, or tons of garish Christmas visuals to bring the holiday horror spirit to life.
