Venomous Echoes, a one-man dissonant blackened death metal project from Ohio, USA. It is the amalgamation of a disturbed mind beckoning forth the cosmos bringing HP Lovecraft to heel. Writhing Tomb Amongst the Stars is out October 21st on Vargheist Records, on CD format exclusively.

Fear, revulsion, madness… this is just some of what Writhing Tomb Amongst the Stars offers listeners from the moment it creates bowel-quaking horror with Dilated Eye of Cosmos Within. The shrieking and immemorial lunacy of this opening track lays the eldritch-drenched blackened death metal infused intensity bare for all to see.

The sickening shadows beckon as Manifestations of Manic Bestial Visions convulses with ferocity. The ghastly sounds assaulting every part of the body. Then Tomb Amongst the Stars reveals a blackness few would dare look in to. Before monstrous and unspeakable things reach out with their Writhing and Swirling Extremities. Venomous Echoes capturing the never-ending sense of unescapable horror perfectly.

Horror that is ever more detestable with Purification and Body Transformations and ever more palatable with Swallowed into the Eye of Lies. A massive amount of credit must be given to Venomous Echoes, seeing as this is all the efforts of one man. Something, that if you weren’t told, you’d never know.

The force of the unknown, regardless of the comfortability with blackened death, comes rushing back to the forefront with Unimaginable Being’s Creation. A vivid loathing for what assaults the senses here is all anyone will feel. Before the infinite intensity of Irrelevant Malformations Forgotten causes a spiralling like no other.

The cosmic heaviness is one thing, but the amalgamation of madness is another. It’s no hyperbole to call this mental pandemonium and it will infect your dreams long after it has passed through the mind.
