Combining the scathing speed of old-school thrash with the late-90’s heavy sound of Swedish melo-death, Bloodmores are going to wreck some necks at Bloodstock this year.

The Lancashire metal quartet have been around since 2018, releasing a single and entering the live scene in 2019. From that point on, it was all systems go for Bloodmores as they released their crushing debut album ‘The Seeds of Seasons’ in early 2019. Their reputation for being absolutely wild on stage, while delivering banger tracks that compel you to head-bang, helped cement their reputation as an important piece of the underground metal scene in the UK.

As the world shuddered to a halt in 2020, there wasn’t much Bloodmores could do, aside from make music from the comfort of their own homes. This mean fans got a new album in 2021 called ‘Too Close to the Sun’, and once the world opened up again, they were back out tearing up stages around the country.

Hungry for so much more, they entered the Stoke Metal 2 the Masses and caused some chaos. Enough for the Bloodstock organisers to be impressed and declare them as the winners. Now attendees will get to experience the manic energy and mayhem of a Bloodmores show for themselves on the Saturday of the festival.

It is going to be fast and very heavy. Don’t take out word for it though, we spoke to them about what it means to play the festival, what Bloodstock means to them, and what attendees can expect from their show. They had this to say:

Bloodstock feels like the pinnacle of the UK heavy metal scene, and to be playing there feels like we’ve risen to the next level of our musical career. It’s an amazing feeling, and we can’t wait to hit the stage.

We’ve seen so many of our favourite bands play there over the years, while making lifelong memories with some of our closest friends, as well as making new ones along the way.
Bloodstock is something you look forward to all year.

You can expect huge energy and stage presence. We all live for the rush of being on stage, and we’ll be bringing everything that our 2 albums have to offer. Raging thrash tracks, heavy breakdowns, shredding leads, and plenty of opportunities to open up the pit.
