The Jägermeister stage at Bloodstock is getting an injection of alternative rock and dirty grunge on the Saturday of the festival. It’s Muddibrooke and they are one of us.

What we mean by that, is at the core of Muddibrooke’s sound is the feeling of self-acceptance. We’re all flawed animals desperately clinging to a rock in space, hoping to find our place in the universe. It turns out our place is where we want it to be, and we can be whoever we want to be. This is what Muddibrooke stand for and they express it phenomenally through their music.

…but you already know this. Muddibrooke aren’t the well-kept secret they once were. Thanks to a slew of impressive releases that includes debut EP, Lunacy, and latest single, Cellar, as well as talked about live shows up and down the country, Muddibrooke have become a name synonymous with quality. Their music is addictive and they’re a refined example what can be achieved in a short amount of time (2020) if you really want it.

The Jägermeister stage might be the smallest of the four at Bloodstock, but it is featuring some of the biggest rising bands in the country this year. Muddibrooke are amongst them and this promises to be one of the show stealing sets. Don’t take our word for it though, we spoke to them about what it means to play the festival, what Bloodstock means to them, and what attendees can expect from their show. They had this to say:

We absolutely cannot wait to play Bloodstock this year – we applied to play every year since we got together in 2020, so we we’re over the moon to wake up to an email saying we’d been chosen for the Jägermeister Stage! We’re all born and living in Derby/Derbyshire so it’s local to us, which means even more as we’ve all grown up with Bloodstock.

For anybody planning to catch our set, expect sweat, blood, screams and a bit of a sing-a-long here and there, you know, for good measure.
