1. Hello! Thank you for taking the time to chat to us. First things first, tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started.

Sig And The Fire Pilots are a rockin’ three piece haling from pretty much slap bang in the middle of the UK, Cannock- midlands. Dave ‘n me got together just before lockdown (put a giant spanner in the works). After lockdown we started rehearsing with a drum box (couldn’t get the right drummer) then Dave came up with giving Duggie a try, and voila… been as a band for about a year+.

2. Someone comes to you and asks you to sum up what kind of music you play – what do you tell them?

Our own blend of Rocky-poppy-Bluesy-Funky-Reggae.

3. What’s currently going on in your camp? New releases? Tours? Etc.

We don’t have much in the way of live dates, only one in the calendar at present. The Red Rum Stafford on May 7th (Coronation Weekend). The next single is recorded, just planning the video as we speak.

4. What has been the most positive experience of making music to date for you?

Meeting Dave and Duggie, and an interview with CBS Records back in the day.

5. Likewise, what has been some of the more challenging aspects and how have you overcome them?

Getting through lockdown was mentally challenging. The band was all I wanted and patience is not a virtue of mine, I was going off me nut!

6. How do you handle the modern expectations of being in a band? Always online, having to put out content constantly, your success measured in likes and follows?

It’s a new challenge. Luckily, my work circumstances have changed, so I can spend hours on the computer. It’s been a huge learning curve but I’m very much enjoying it.

7. What’s something that really ‘grinds your gears’ about the industry/business these days and what would you propose is done to combat it?

Simon Cowell ..I like to think he is responsible for single-handily killing the music industry in the UK.

8. Speaking directly to listeners – what would you ask they do to help support your music?

Funny , I wouldn’t ask .. I just like to think that if your into music and stumble onto ours, brilliant. Anything else, likes and shares, major bonus.

9. Outside of the music, what’s do you do to relax?

Very much into motorcycles. All aspects from repairing to racing.

10. Where can people find you?
