1. How did you get started as a band?

Neverland started 1999 at the music school ACM in Zürich (CH), when Boris Stoll (Drums) and Daniel Huber (Guit) decided to start their own Band. They completed the line up with the musicians Manual Wagner (Keys), Andreas Mislin (Guit) Roland Jost (Bass) and Mike Zotter (Voc). After several concerts and some changes in cast, worldwide released music and a tour in the USA, the band reunion started in 2021 with Daniel Huber (guit), Boris Stoll (drums), Roland Jost (Bass) and finally with Mike Zotter (voc).

2. How would you describe your sound?

Melodic Progressive Metal.

3. What bands/artists would you say have influenced your style of music?

We are definitely influenced by Symphony X, Yngwie Malmsteen, Royal Hunt, Sonata Artica and of course Dream Theater.

4. Has the rise of YouTube & music streaming helped or hindered you as a band?

Until today we are more old school in our mind but with our promotion company (rockstar publishing) we are going to be more modern with the advantage of the internet.

5. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not making music?

To hang up with friends and have a good beer and a barbecue is definitely number one.

6. What are your future plans musically? Tours?

At the moment we are writing and recording new songs in our own studio here in Switzerland. So first step will be the release of our new album and in spring we are ready to rock the stage. Our promotion company will plan a tour in 2023. Hopefully see you there.
