What Screen To Choose For The Party
In the era of the latest technology and various gadgets, the usual plasma panel is no surprise to anyone. This thing has become absolutely commonplace. However, at the wedding reception to entertain guests with a screen or projector is quite real! In this article we will share with you some ways to use the screen at the wedding.
When choosing a model, you need to consider the following factors:
1. Room.
In most cases, to rent a plasma screen is held to demonstrate some kind of video image at the planned event. In that case, the first thing to do is to assess the size of the venue where the video will be broadcast. The site should be understood as a restaurant, cafe, marquee or other room in which the event will be held. For example, to broadcast the video in a small cafe, where as the audience will be a small number of people, model with a diagonal of 32 inches is suitable. For larger areas, in order to show the video for a larger number of people, we advise you to choose a model with a wider diagonal. This applies to models with diagonals of 46 and 50 inches. If you find the presented diagonals are not enough, we advise you to consider renting a projector or a screen, in which case the screen diagonal can be up to 150 inches.
If you want a big picture, for example, the entire wall, take a video wall or as it is called, “seamless plasma.
2. Reproducible information.
Rent LCD panels should also take into account the type and technical characteristics of the video to be played. For example, if the video you intend to broadcast has Full HD resolution (1920×1080 pixels), then you should choose a model that supports this feature. Otherwise, the displayed video may lose a significant portion of its quality. In some cases, you may need to play stereo images and 3D videos. Some of our rental panels support this feature and come with 3D glasses for viewing stereo images.
3. Video Media.
If you are interested in renting an LCD panel, take care in advance about the medium from which you are going to broadcast video to the LCD panel. Modern panels support video playback via USB. So it will be enough to have a flash drive with a video file recorded on it. Most of the models available for rent support this feature. If you need to play video from a CD, make sure you have a proper player. Alternatively, you can rent one as well.
-If you are choosing between a screen and an LCD panel, keep in mind some details: a projection screen requires the ability to dim the lights, it will be difficult to see anything in a lit room. However, if there is a slide show that requires a long stay in the semi-darkness, it can be very inconvenient.
A little bit about projection screens:
The main factor for choosing a projection screen is the size of the room.
If you want to make a presentation in a small hall (up to 50-70 people) a tripod screen 180*180 cm will do.
For the hall with the capacity of more than 50 people a frame screen of 220*300 cm or a tripod screen 244*244 cm will do.
If your program actively involves a screen or plasma, if there is more than one – use the services of a specialist who will be responsible for the replay of your material. Also make sure that the presenter has a “clicker” – a device for remote control to switch slides and pictures. Ask the manager of the rental company about the availability of this device in advance.
