1. How did you get started as a band?

It started jamming with Dave also playing guitar and Todd playing bass and then we recruited Rich on drums. I met Bill through a mutual friend and after jamming with him on guitar we decided to move Dave to bass and Todd to vocals and that was the start of Threnody.

2. How would you describe your sound?

Old School Death metal with a modern flair.

3. What bands/artists would you say have influenced your style of music?

Wide range of music but Napalm Death, Carcass, Death along with Metallica.

4. Has the rise of YouTube & music streaming helped or hindered you as a band?

It has totally helped. Back in the day we use to have make Press Packs and mail out to venues and Zines just to get PR, now it can reach 100 times more with just a click.

5. What do you enjoy doing when you’re not making music?

I am an avid sports fan, traveling the world with my wife and spending my down time listening to music.

6. What are your future plans musically? Tours?

We are currently working on new material in hopes to release another album. Tours are on hold at the moment due to everyone living in different states and singer lives in England.
