Ricky Omen is multi-instrumentalist, producer, and international fashion model. Sewing his roots growing up in the Midwest listening to the likes of Slipknot and Linkin Park which would inspire him to start learning guitar and drums at a young age. During college he become engulfed in the soundcloud rap era and started taking production classes, constantly taking stylistic cues from LiL Peep, Juice WRLD, & drippin so pretty. Now based in Berlin RICKY//OMEN’s music is mix of his Nu-Metal youth, Emo Rap, with undertones of Electronic Pop. Professionally he has worked for brands such as Calvin Klein, Tom Ford, & All Saints.

Today, he has released the official music video For the track “LIKETHEREST”. Ricky had this to say about it:

I typically have a log process of writing and recording music but this song just came to me one moment during the lockdown in 2020 and I produced and recorded the song in less than an hour. The vocals are the original take which was a freestyle believe it or not, and I’m a terrible freestyler haha. The lyrics themselves refer to a past relationship that went sour and how I dealt with the pain of the loss afterwords.
