13 Days of Halloween – Game Review: Knock All Zombie: Horror Game (Mobile – Free to Play)

Your city is captured by zombies. They spread all over the city and coming towards your house. Its your time to show some action. Use your skills and kill all the zombies before they enter in your house.

Now, if that wonderful App store description doesn’t tell you everything you need to know about Knock All Zombie: Horror Game then allow me.

Developed by Faizan Akbar, responsible for such free to play classics as Spider Hero Crime City Mafia, Scary Freddy Boss Horror Night and Hello Ice Scream: Scary Evil. Knock All Zombie: Horror Game is a first-person zombie defence game of the most basic kind.

The description on the App store is correct, your goal is to defend your house against incoming zombies. However, World War Z this is not. You move with the stick on the left-hand side of the screen and swing your sword with the stick on the right hand side of screen. Each level, of which there are 10 in total, sees you beginning just outside the front of the house as the zombies come from the road through the main gate. An orderly bunch, they will hilariously goose-step their way to a specific point before turning towards the gate.

You can literally stand in their way slashing away to kill them all in a matter of seconds. Later levels introduce zombies that fight back but they still hardly pose a problem. Not once across 10 levels did the zombies ever really come close to getting in as they all die within 3-4 hits.

Finish all 10 levels and the game will continue giving you the impression that there is more to come as a brand-new level begins. Where are the all the zombies? Nowhere to be found as you’re given free-reign to explore a barren, lifeless and barely finished world.

Free to play or not, it is hilariously bad. Ugly to look at, barely playable thanks to horrendous hit detection and with the same ‘ominous’ piece of music that loops every 5 seconds or so. Avoid.
