Bloodstock Festival have announced a whopping 7 more bands added to their already impressive lineup this morning. Bloodstock takes place between August 10th and August 13th each year at Walton on Trent in Derbyshire. It is the UK’s largest independent heavy metal festival and has grown in popularity each year. Loads of great beers and ales along with solid line ups has seen Bloodstock Festival grow from a small indoor festival to the weekend long party it is today.
The 7 latest additions are –
Winterfylleth, Dendera, Kroh, Abhorrent Decimation, Bossk, Courtesans and Wretched Soul
All 7 bands are British bands and it’s great to see so much home grown talent getting slots at a big festival.
Winterfylleth are from Manchester. They are a Black Metal band who released one of the best albums of 2016 in The Dark Hereafter. Dendera, from Portsmouth, play a traditional style of heavy metal so should be good fun. Kroh, from Birmingham, are a stoner/doom metal band while Abhorrent Decimation are, you may have guessed by the name, a full on death metal band from London. Bossk are from Ashford in Kent and will bring experimental post metal to the party. Courtesans are an all female, London based, band bringing a unique genre in doom pop to the event while the final band, from Canterbury, are Wretched Soul who play black/death metal.
What a fantastic line up it is so far. With a load more bands still to come, you won’t want to miss out on the best metal festival in the UK.
